Red Ribbon Week 2017
RED RIBBON WEEK is a National Drug Awareness and Prevention Campaign initiated in 1988. Teaching our children at an early age about the adverse effects of drug abuse will hopefully give them the tools to make the right choice and avoid drug abuse in the future.
Below is a schedule of events for Red Ribbon Week:
MONDAY, 10/23/17 Buffalo against drugs: Wear your buffalo t-shirt/school colors. (blue/teal)
TUESDAY, 10/24/17 Drug free from head to toe: Wear your crazy socks and crazy hair.
WEDNESDAY, 10/25/17 Team up against drugs: Wear your favorite team attire.
THURSDAY, 10/26/17 Don’t sweat it, say no to drugs: Wear your sweats.
FRIDAY, 10/27/17 Give drugs the boot: Wear your favorite boots.
RIBBON BY RIBBON…SCHOOL BY SCHOOL…FAMILY BY FAMILY…CHILD BY CHILD…PRAIRIE VIEW, OKLAHOMA AND THE UNITED STATES STAND UNITED IN CARRYING OUR AMERICAN FLAG, AND THE PROUD BANNER OF DRUG-FREE YOUTH. TOGETHER WE ARE MAKING THE DIFFERENCE.
