Mrs. Kappus grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High school in 1999. She attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career at McKinley Elementary. For 7 years, she taught 4th grade and decided to go back to school. She attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Enid and received her Masters of Education in Guidance and Counseling. Being the counselor at Prairie View is greatest job. Mrs. Kappus loves getting to know all the students and building relationships with them. She is married to her husband Rob Kappus who teaches Science at Enid High School. She has two children, Addison and Anderson. She loves reading, running outdoors, spending time with her family, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
