My name is Nicole Sallee (Sah-lee) and I love teaching music here at Prairie View! I have grown up in the wonderful world of music and my passion is to give your children the tools they need to be successful and have fun in any form of music they choose to be a part of.
Raised in Florida, my mother was my music teacher growing up! She has had such a huge influence on my passion and knowledge in this area. I graduated in 2005 from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a major in Music and a minor in Business Administration. I then became a Music Director for various churches over the last 12 years, taking a small break to teach music for an arts-based Pre-School. During my time as a music director I was responsible for children's and adult choirs, handbell choirs, orchestras and instrumental ensembles, bands, and vocal teams.
I am married to a musician! My husband, Brian, plays the violin, piano, drums, guitar, and some brass instruments. He is also highly skilled in the technical arts. My oldest daughter, Riley, is almost 9 years old and loves to play the ukelele. My youngest daughter, Emma is 5 years old (going on 16) and loves to sing. Both girls attend Prairie View.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year. I believe in transparency and communication. I love when parents are involved in the education of their child. I can't wait to partner with you!
